Looking at the District Attorney job – accuse and prosecute! But who have these people going after for accusations? Remember – they need to get elected! Thus, high profile cases get them elected – while delaying cases keep them getting paid!

The median days from case filing in U.S. district court to case termination was 300 days in
FY 2021, up from 212 days in FY 2020. During fiscal year (FY) 2021, federal law
enforcement agencies made 78,068 arrests, a 35% decrease from the 120,112 arrests in
FY 2020. The median time from receipt of an investigation to the decision by a U.S. attorney to prosecute or decline a matter was 70 days in FY 2021, up from 27 days in FY 2020.
It is a philosophical decision for next elections – do we want Lawyers who only know how to look for wrongdoing and accuse people of crime – or do we want businesspeople looking to grow business? (Negatives or Positives?)
