I like to promote theories of intelligence, how our intelligence levels are developed over time, how we may increase our personal quotient levels, and how we might behave due to our quotient levels.
In my opinion, there are three important considerations for intelligence 1) Political, 2) Cultural, 3) Emotional.
Knowledge of our intelligence levels will increase our self-efficacy.

Headlines today show that our sitting US Vice President has raised over $50million since the President announced he will not be running for re-election.
To me – this headline implies money is the most important aspect for getting elected to the highest political office in the United States. Really? – Money? Does this mean the office is for sale? – That money (and not policies people want for the future of the country) is what convinces people to vote?
We have approximately 170 million registered voters in the United States. Of this number, well over 100 million participate in 1 out of 10 social safety nets funded by the United States Government (or should I say collected taxes and debt). See: Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (Federal Government Data)
If you are receiving something that you like (could be anything) and the person providing told you that you must keep coming back to them as the “others” would not provide the same. What would you do? If you receive money from someone – not from work efforts – would you want that to be reduced?
If I told you this – you would most likely dislike the other person. Even if the other person were not going to reduce your support – but you are told they will.
This is our political intelligence level (relatively low) in the United States – the masses will believe the rhetoric of hate being critically communicated repeatedly by an agenda for power and control.
If I were to say – you need to work long hours to collect pay to buy everything you consume – who would like this? You cannot have everything you want in a short period of time. Very few people have the financial means to do what they want (within legal boundaries). But we see wealth on display through our constant entertainment and innate desire to see what wealth can do. Thus, everyone wants what wealth can bring – but most people hate wealthy people because the grass looks greener. When people see differences there are walls built to separate those who have from those who don’t. We apply our background exposure (of life through experiences and observation through entertainment) and we establish walls between what we perceive of ourselves and those around us. And we apply the same walls to those we perceive to be different even though we only see them through entertainment or the filter of others. This is the low level of cultural intelligence in the United States. And a reason for so many boundaries is due to diversity where there is no homogenous culture as we are exposed to almost every culture imaginable. No single homogenous culture makes up more than 5% of the entire United States.
So, tell me – how can any one person “please” 20 different viewpoints? Impossible.
There will be many people who may read my words and have an emotional reaction. They can develop a positive or negative attitude towards what I’m saying. They don’t really know me – but they might develop a strong hatred for me due to something they dislike. (Even though there may be more commonality between us than they recognize) This is the importance people place in the moment. There are many people who wish to have what they want today! Not many people want to wait, to work and build towards ideas important to them today.
If I say something to you that you may find distasteful or disheartening, you may reject me outright. This means you reject everything about me due to a few of my thoughts. We prove everyone guilty the moment we hear or read something perceived as troubling to us. As if we are all perfect! The only perfect person is the one living alone on an island. No two people are the same, yet we have some similarities that may stand out in our looks and behaviors. These are the surface traits that people are quick to judge with praise or condemn. And, when we associate with others who hold similar judgement, our attitudes are strengthened. The psychology of wanting approval by others is critical to the masses due to stress. The stress of being in a situation and wanting to be in a different situation. When stressed and not having a path forward, people will form a desire to be with others that have the same desires, the same wants.
Think about this – people who feel they work too hard and don’t get paid enough may associate with others who think the same way. People who struggle with health issues may find others with similar afflictions. People without wealthy may develop the same attitudes towards those they perceive as better off due to money. Yet, look at the value of complaining about something compared to doing something about it! The only way to change a situation is to do something with intent on changing the situation. The emotional trap of stress can keep someone from ever achieving steps towards changing their lives. It is easier to associate with people who have similar stress values than make the decision to put in effort needed to affect change. The emotional levels of the United States have been low for many decades due to the ease in finding others with similar stress. The digital world offers unlimited access to others. And offers a way for unethical individuals to keep others in low stress levels through false association. If all we know about others is the similar attitudes – we will assume they are comrades. This emotional stress trap can be an easy way to control the masses.
Think about this – anyone wanting to change their life stress levels may find opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through the digital world. Yet it is easier to find solace in solidarity for maintaining stressed emotions.
The only person who may increase self-efficacy in life through growth in Political, Cultural, and Emotional intelligence is within every individual. Every person may affect change in their lives by looking deeper into what others are saying and doing. What is making them say and do? Why are they saying and doing to you? What do they really want from you? And most importantly, what do you want for yourself and what are you doing about it?
