The sky did fall on Chicken Little, Grandma was a Wolf, and Goldilocks was sleeping in baby bears bed! Sometimes a story does indicate the truth. And sometimes people twist the truth to their own agenda. These people who like to twist information are usually those who have issues in other parts of their world and they like to spout hate and negativity to the world. (Many are like this!)
Here is an article (opinion printed by CNN) about Florida’s new law supporting children. (to 3rd grade – these are young children) – There is a paragraph I must share:
“So much of this is premised on the idea of “parents’ rights”: The argument that parents have near-universal authority over their children, including the right to put them in harm’s way. This treatment of children as parental property rather than as human beings vested with their own rights has a long history in conservative movements in the United States.”

Who does have authority (and responsibility) for children under the age of 18? – Much less – under the age of 8 (3rd Graders and under)?
Human beings vested with their own rights? – Hmmm And when do a majority of Democrats say a “being” becomes a “human being? According to Democratic party policy – don’t Mothers have the right to abandon and kill (destroy) when a “being” is still in the womb? But they are not Human Beings – right? So I guess when born (Breathing and pumping blood on their own) they become “Human Beings”
So does this mean that any Parent who “harbors” a Human Being who breaks the law – should be held responsible? And yet – the Government “Controls” Human Beings with rules, regulations, and laws – as if the Government “owns them”
My questions – Why aren’t Parents responsible for their children until they are no longer living under their Parents realm of control?
This does not make them Slaves or Property – it means someone is responsible for the child’s actions.
But I must digress – since when are 8 year olds making decisions for themselves? (How about a beer or a joint 3rd grader?)
Geeze Folks – the whole idea with the program is to say that the Education System can’t “dictate” agenda on sexuality to children under 3rd grade – the idea is that Parents are responsible for their children. And no school system can “Parent” for them – without the biological or legal guardian’s consent!
This is a long way from when I was in elementary school! Where more than STEM was taught, we learned discipline for study, and we learned to behave around others. (Public School Elementary!)
Now if this author can prove that an 8 year old knows the difference and wants to be taught by a school system what sex is all about – then maybe I’ll agree – but these subjects should be up to their parents – and if their parents aren’t teaching their children correctly or at all – then maybe the Democratic party should consider “parental education” rather than increased tax deductions for bearing more children – maybe a tax deduction for attending education on being a parent and teaching children how to respect others. (But I guess the parents must learn about respecting others first!)
