Headline: “Biden said privately he has no idea why Sen. Sinema is trying to stop his legislative agenda, book says”
I think this sums up much of the problems with the Democratic Party today! When I think of the concept “Privately” it would not show up in headlines!
There is too much access to private lives and government making choices for people. While monitoring is good to protect those, who are living lives with positive ethics and morals, the more the Government attempts to be involved in personal lives – the more people will resist and find nefarious ways to undermine the Governments attempts.
While I don’t recommend free-for-all (Anarchy) – I do believe focused approach towards real criminals (While Collar Criminals) and then actually doing something about them rather than letting them lawyer up and getting away with damaging the moral and trusting fabric of our society.
While research and journalism has brought up recidivism in physical and hate crimes – the number of people damaged through (Swindle, Embezzling, Misappropriation, expropriation, purloining, – and not just funds, but includes impersonations and identity stealing) is much higher per criminal. Not to mention the 34% of illegal immigrants who are repeat crossers of the border
Just think about the newest multi-trillion dollar budget – every Senator and Congressman was able to toss pork-barrel items into the bill – without any ROI to pay for it – other than saying “War is happening and people are thinking about that rather than the millions of tax dollars being wasted on personal local projects (Which should be paid for by State funds!) This means my tax dollars are going to pay for things such as: “$2,000,000 for Urban Neighborhood Initiatives for the Southwest Detroit Creative Connections Collaborative, which will deploy high-speed broadband and build community spaces; (Included in an email sent out by Representative Rashida Tlaib D-Michigan) The congresswoman was bragging about 10 projects for her District she was able to get into the budget – a total of $15,362,725 of Federal funds – for local projects. (Of course I guess the money is going to something better than say 60 helicopters for politicians to fly around the State.)
Ah – but I digress – the point is: Terms don’t mean the same as they used to – Private is no longer actually private. And if anyone says “But he is the President and public figure” That adds to the point – that our Government does have many things that are private (Confidential, Secret, etc) And yet a comment which is likely no more than a passing thought – is made out to be a headline trying to say “We have insights into the Presidents Private Thoughts” Now how is that not manipulation of the masses by twisting words?
We need Journalism and Media to provide justification and fact sources for their information – or allow the general public, who is affronted by their agendas and manipulation efforts – to have the ability to argue (with justification) the stories. Or, we need the Government to come out and state: “Media in the US is Fiction” – oh wait – many have – but big money takes over and squashes dissent to being used and confused.
