The Democratic Party Leaders want to increase the Supreme Court sitting justices with 4 new Justices. (live appointments) And yet this from Biden’s (Democratic Machine) hand selected US Secretary of State: (Different Situation – but read what he says!)

Here in the US – the present US President (And democratic leaders) – want to appoint 4 new justices to the Supreme Court – would it really be “Independent?” – Lets consider some history.

From 1933 to 1969 – the Democratic party had Control of House/Senate/White House for all but 7 years (Eisenhower Years) And in 1946, following Roosevelt’s Presidency – 8 of 9 Justices were appointed by Roosevelt – and his Government Controlling Policies were mandated not only by Congress – but a willing Judiciary. From 1869 to 2021 the Supreme Court has been set at 9 Justices. And it was in 1937 that Roosevelt tried to expand the court – but congress restrained the President (Who wanted no resistance to his “New Deal” plans! His reasoning was that when a Justice was 70.5 years old and refused to retire – they couldn’t keep up with the amount of work so another appointee would be made – up to 15 justices)

But in 1937 – Justice Owen Roberts shifted his voting towards a more liberal (and Roosevelt direction) view. And since Roosevelt was able to achieve a 3rd term – Between 1943 and 1946, eight of the nine sitting Justices had been appointed by President Roosevelt. Thus, the attempt to increase the court became moot!

So – what makes today different? – A “New-New Deal?” More Federal Government Control- and a Judiciary that happened to be mostly appointed by Conservative Presidents. Today only 3 Supreme Court Justices were appointed by Democratic Presidents. (C Thomas was appointed by G. Bush, with a Democratic Senate!)
