Maybe someone at DHS has a “Gut Feeling”??They are reporting that 150 people have been arrested – Wow! – But wait – there were just about 1,000 people arrested – just in Portland following Riots in June. So – is there a difference? Those arrested from storming the Capital in Washington may be different – so is this turning into “Profiling” If you meet certain criteria (ie. you didn’t vote for Biden) – then you are potentially an insurrectionist and maybe even a traitor?

Last – in the DHS report it included: “The department urged the public to report suspicious activity and threats of violence.”The FBI has a report of crimes reported (not solved, and not a total of crimes not reported!) If we just look at Violent Crimes – In 2019, an estimated 1,203,808 violent crimes occurred nationwide.

This is likely only a portion of the crimes actually committed in the US. So – report if you will – I would prefer better controlling programs, better justice systems, better prison systems (reduce the 80-90% recidivism!) AND – a government that actually searches for the root of the problem and addresses it. (Such as media influence!, Lack of Parental Discipline teaching young children, and youth expectations that the government is responsible to take care of every problem in the world!

I wonder if “We the People” is taught any more in schools! It would seem that Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address has failed – and that – that government of the people, by the people, for the people – has perished.
