I try to consider myself as intelligent. I’ve had some education.

Yet I’m confused – isn’t “unemployment” the US program to help people who lose their job? And isn’t the Feds providing extra money over what State’s are providing for Unemployment? (By the way – Unemployment is only 6.7% right now)

Okay – so why is there a stimulus package for people – who are still working? – And if it really is a stimulus package – then why isn’t everyone getting a payment? Or – is this next round ($1,400) just a thank you for votes?

Then, I ask myself – Biden’s Package for helping the country through the Pandemic – this is a good thing as many THE organizations have been shut down (Tourism, Hospitality, Entertainment). So why are these money requests included in the package?

1) Schools – Seems to me that if Schools are not in session – they should be saving money? And at the least, schools should be clean and fixed up nice for when students return!

2) Keystone Pipeline? – What does this have to do with the Pandemic – and removal is surely not “Economic Stimulus”

3) Oil & Gas Leases being stopped – again not really related to Covid or Stimulus

4) Tax increases – I know the new spending must be paid for – but raising taxes during the pandemic – Hmmm – Not really Economic Stimulus

5) Tax Payer money going to the Paris Climate Agreement – folks the money is going to foreign countries to support them if they reduce emissions – Your taxes are going to Foreign Businesses! – Is that really economic stimulus for the US?

6) Tax payer funding for International Abortion Clinics, and US not-for-profit clinics – Go figure?

7) Money for Illegal Immigrants (Yes folks who are in the US without legal permission) to use Health Care.

8) Increase US Supreme Court Justices – Really? – is that what we really want to do? I thought there was a Separation between Branches of Government – but if the White House and Congress is able to simply increase the number of Justices – so they can appoint who they want – seems contrary to the American Way!

Okay – so Help those who are suffering from the Pandemic (ie. those who lost their jobs, and Businesses who may be suffering) – But are the other items really being shoved down everyone’s gullet? – Seems there was a reason 74Million people voted against the Democratic Party in the last election.
