The “Media” and creation of hate

Continued discussion on the Atlanta Spa situation: our glorious news – I use that term lightly because there are no “news” media – they are “entertainment media” using events to glamorize their own agendas for inciting the public.

We all know how the media bends over backwards to make mountains out of molehills. This in from CNN: “Some officials call for hate crimes…” The young author Madeline Holcombe provides an insight into journalism today. She quotes people who went onto national media for their own political futures – the Atlanta Mayor on Anderson Cooper no less. Where the Mayor gave her “official and investigative opinion” (Where did she train for investigation – and when is it allowed for politicians to talk in public about cases??) Yet Holcombe provides the real investigated clue to what happened – with a quote from an actual investigator in Sheriff Captain Jay Baker – who said: “The suspect told police he believed he had a sex addiction and that he saw the spas as “a temptation … that he wanted to eliminate”

I don’t see race here – I see a young man who may not have had discipline in his youth and let his emotions run his life. (Or, maybe he saw a few movies where the seedy side of life was destroyed by bullet proof police and he figured he could do the same?)These are conjectures on my part – as I never spoke to the young man and asked him why he does what he does! (I have doubts that his parents ever did either?)

Still, Holcombe’s article continues to quote others who are not associated with the case. And, perpetuating accusations and falsehoods – Holcombe repeats a question (not sure who asked as the article doesn’t say) about hate crimes – and I’ll repeat from my prior discussion – “isn’t all intentional murder Hate?” Even the FBI Director (why would he be involved – is it because this was about “spas” in Florida that may have international employees?)

Anyway – FBI Director Christopher Wray says the attacks don’t seem racially motivated. This had nothing to do with racial hate – it had to do with a weak individual who let his emotions control his life. AND – the real question: Why would the accused say he had a sex addiction – and connect it to “Spas” where he frequented? Is there “Sex” going on at the Spa’s? – (Well not likely if you use Bill Clinton’s definition)Murder for any reason can only be justified by self-defense (or for the protection of others as in the case of our National Defense) Murder for any other reason is hate!

And – because everyone wants to label people as having a “race” – then journalists want to connect hate with race. Until our government stops asking people what their race is – and stops providing benefits for one race over another – this segmentation in our society will continue.https://www.cnn.com/…/metro-atlanta…/index.html
