HR1 – the Priority of the New Democrats – the media is calling it the “Voting Rights” act. “There’s a lot of ground covered in its nearly 800 pages, but some of its key points are creating a national system for automatic voter registration, putting in transparency requirements for political advertising, and instituting nonpartisan redistricting commissions to end partisan gerrymandering.”

Look at this statement –

Nationalized Voting Registration? (Duh haven’t Republicans wanted this so States couldn’t manipulate differently?) –

Transparency in Political Advertising – Do we really think the Democrats who live on Lobby money are going to comply? – And it isn’t advertising that should be monitored – it is the payments for people to go door to door and ask for votes! (Filling in votes for people who don’t respond!)

Gerrymandering Districts – both parties are on the ethical edge on this one – but it is so obvious that districts have been created to ensure a minority representation – just look at NY District 14 – which was primarily republican votes – until the NY congress decided they needed a Hispanic district and changed the district lines – now District 14 is 90% minority (Hispanic – 50%, Asian & Black – 26% – White 22% – but more than half of the white are Women!

Of course the real result of the Bill/Act – is to Federally control something across the Nation and remove “States Rights” (The “commission” to design districts will be appointed by Federal Congress – which will follow their policy – thus, districts will be jerrymandered to meet race segmentation – not geographic boundaries)

Basically – the New Democrats are doing what should be done – but in a way for the Federal Party to control – not State parties.
