Media Consolidation – who owns what and what is their true agenda? Sept 26, 2020

For all of you who have Verizon services – did you know that Verizon now owns and controls the communication agenda for Yahoo, AOL, (both now part of Oath) and HuffPost (Which is why you see HuffPost news on Yahoo even if you request to see less of it!) (HuffPost received funding from SoftBank, and all of Yahoo non-news applications are now owned by SoftBank) – See my prior discussion on US information news concerning SoftBank..

What does this mean? – In the past 5 years the organization has reorganized subsidiaries with many high profile resignations. Verizon has acquired an ownership with an analytic technologies company that is able to aggregate digital and social media information for dissemination throughout the entire company.

Red Zone Maps – Marketing statement is likely opposite what the application was actually being used for: “RedZone Maps, a “GPS-driven, real-time crime, and navigation map application,” capitalizes on Helios’ artificial intelligence and facial recognition technologies to expand crime mapping capabilities. The app is designed to help users avoid areas of high crime.”

Note: This entity was part of Helios and Matheson Analytics – which a Theodore Farnsworth used as a front to gather market data for resale. Helios was sued and has gone bankrupt – but Zone Technologies – creator of RedZone Maps is now controlled by Oath/Verizon. This is the first PR statement about the company in 2015: https://www.prnewswire.com/…/us-and-israeli-technology-comp…

This means all entities receive the same strategic stories derived from social media interests and other information sources on the internet and distribute them to: all Samsung equipment, Oath Companies (AOL, HuffPost, Yahoo)

So – manipulation of politics and public impression? Read this:

(If anyone systematically in public space said this about another person – wouldn’t they be taken to court for slander?)

During the 2016 United States presidential election, HuffPost regularly appended an editor’s note to the end of stories about candidate Donald Trump, reading: “Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims—1.6 billion members of an entire religion—from entering the U.S.” After Trump was elected on November 8, 2016, HuffPost ended this practice

This is just a bit more to think about as you are agreeing or disagreeing with what you read online!
